24 Hour Care Services

Jelf Close Care Ltd is a non-profit-making company that employs a part-time Care Manager and nine part-time carers. A carer is on site 24 hours a day and the building is staffed at all times. Each resident has a pendant alarm to alert the carer and two emergency alarms are also provided in each flat.

A carer will visit each flat at regular intervals, at agreed times, with emphasis on the mornings and afternoons. The visits are tailored to suit the residents' requirements. The carers will do light household duties, ironing, make tea / coffee, heat ready meals, prepare light suppers, help with phone calls and paperwork, and liaise with doctors if needed. Should a resident be unwell for a few days we will support the resident and give them priority. Should a resident's health decline and personal care become necessary on a regular basis we can bring in extra help (at additional cost to the resident). In this way, Jelf Close Care Ltd can facilitate most close care needs, enabling the resident to remain safely in his/her home.
