24 Hour Care Services
Jelf Close Care Ltd employs a Care Manager and nine part-time carers. A carer is on site 24 hours a day and the building is never left unattended. Each resident has a pendant alarm to alert the carer and two emergency alarms are also provided in each flat. There is a Lift which is regularly maintained.

A carer will visit each flat at regular intervals, at agreed times, with emphasis on the mornings and afternoons. The visits are tailored to suit the residents’ requirements. The carers will do light household duties, ironing, help with phone calls and paperwork and liaise with doctors if needed. Should a resident become unwell we will support the resident and give them priority. We may not do regular personal care. Should a resident’s health decline and extra help become necessary on a regular basis, this may be provided with the assistance of local district nurses and/or a local care agency (at extra cost to the resident). In this way, Jelf Close Care can facilitate most close care needs, enabling the resident to remain safely in his/her home.
